Our Little Drama Queen Turned 4!

Happy Birthday Kaylie!

Yup that's right Kaylie (Kiki) Marie Heffner is now 4 years old! I can't believe how fast time goes by!! It was just 4 years ago I was changing your little preemie diapers and comparing you to the size of our remote control. And here we are today with an extra tall 4 year old girly girl. We are so blessed to have such an amazing little girl. Yes you are our drama queen but you are Momma's sweethear and Daddy's Princess. You are our little luv bug. You tell us 100 million times a day how much you loves us and are constantly giving us hugs and kisses. You may be high maintenance, and the most dramatic of the 3 kiddos, but we love you to death. Happy Birthday baby girl!

Halloween 2009

We hope everyone had a safe and happy halloween! The girls were so excited to go trick-or-treating! The rule in our house (till they get older of course) is after they get their candy after we go through their candy and check for anything bad the girls get to choose 10 pieces of candy each and put them in little baggies, (then we dump the rest of their candy in the candy bucket and pass it all out!) Sugar plus Dakota and Kaylie = disaster the next day!!

The Girls 1st Day of School!

The girls had their 1st day of School Yesterday:



Dakota is in Pre-K, because they changed the cut-off date for kindergarten,
she missed it by 20 days!! She has to take another year of preschool. We dont mind though
she LOVES it!!


Kaylie was so excited for her first day of school with "sissy".
She is actually in the same preschool class, with the same teachers
that Dakota had last year! She felt so comfortable because she
already knew the teachers and she finally got to "Stay" and play
instead of having to go home with Mommy!

Okay okay I know.. BAD BAD blogger... but hopefully the server issues calmed down..and the site is working great... so hopefully I can get back on a schedule... So here are a few picture to make up for some lost time :)

January 10th: Day 10

Okay so somehow i've fallen a day behind LOL... SO. i'll be doing 2 posts today to get caught up!

Yesterday's photo... Dancing with daddy! We have what we call "dance parties" in our house.. daddy turns up the music really loud and dances around for an hour with the girls.. they LOVE it! so here is a picture of KiKi and Aaron.

January 9th: Day 9

This is how KiKi carries our little charilie around... I only got 2 photos for today.. so this was the best one LOL... busy day!

January 4th: Day 4

Okay so I had to do 3 photos to capture the full effect. Kaylie hasnt been sleeping well at night. She gets up at least 20 times and hasnt been wanting to take her naps etc... well today guess what we found on the couch? One very tired Kiki...

The 1st Broken Bone in the Family!

Yup that is right, Little miss Kaylie broke her big toe on Friday! Can you believe they put her in cast? It goes all the way up to her knee. The poor girl! We have saddle style stools that fit under the ledge of our counter.. well she didnt pull the stool out far enough and slipped and the top heavy part of the stool, crashed down on her poor little toe and broke it right in 1/2 right in the middle. I dont have pictures yet, but will post them soon. The guy who did her cast made it into a "purple candycane" for her. She is walking around on it pretty good, but really who would have known our little kiki would be the first broken bone? Poor little one! the next 7 weeks are going to be crazy! Especially bath time! now THAT part is not fun.

Kaylie's 2nd Birthday!!

I am doing some catch up here... Kaylie turned 2 August 23rd. Here are the pictures from her "Princess Party".

That morning I blew up two bags of balloons: They loved them!


We did a Chocolate Fondue bar with yummy fruit, as well as chicken and veggie kabobs and of course chips and dip!

I asked Dakota what kind of cake we should get for kaylie and big sister said "a princess one".




She wasnt so sure about blowing out the candles but boy did she ever love to eat the cake!
