2008 August Pismo Vacation

So the day after kaylie's birthday (Sunday) we left for Pismo. That is where our 5th wheel is stored. We stayed at a nice place called Pismo Sands. It was only about 5 minutes from the beach, but it had grass sites and NO sand!! We put the girls in daycare for two of the days dropped them off at 10 and picked them up about 3, they loved it! They didnt have to follow us around as we did our shopping etc. So While the girls were away, Aaron and I biked 7 miles the first day and 6 miles the 2nd day! boy did we feel the burn going up and down those hills :) When we picked the girls up we went back to teh RV park and took them swimming in the heated pool. It was so nice and they loved it.. oh and again.. NO sand!! Yay! the 2nd evening we took the girls the beach and let them play in the sand and water. Kaylie did not like the ocean so much, spent the entire time huddled in her towel in her chair! Dakota, however loved the water! The 3rd day we took the girls to breakfast and then we drove around for a while and then we took them to the pier and walked all the way down and back. It was a very nice vacation and the last week long vacation until christmas time! Enjoy the pictures!

Kaylie's 2nd Birthday!!

I am doing some catch up here... Kaylie turned 2 August 23rd. Here are the pictures from her "Princess Party".

That morning I blew up two bags of balloons: They loved them!


We did a Chocolate Fondue bar with yummy fruit, as well as chicken and veggie kabobs and of course chips and dip!

I asked Dakota what kind of cake we should get for kaylie and big sister said "a princess one".




She wasnt so sure about blowing out the candles but boy did she ever love to eat the cake!

3 GOALS
1-Like Robyn said. Lose weight. I've lost 10lbs in 2 weeks. Aaron and I are on the Medifast Diet and sure enough its working! We also just bought me a new bike, so we go out every evening after dinner and ride with the girls around the neighborhood!
2-Teach my children and prepare them for life.
3-Be the best wife, mother and friend I can be.

3 Current Obsessions
1-Digital Scrapbooking- eat it, sleep it, wear it. I'm selling my designs at a wonderful shop and I'm totally addicted! www.digitalcandy.ca
2-Doing my girls hair- i just love being able to braid and curl and straighten and play with their hair!
3- traveling. I love traveling. Just a few weekends ago, we got a babysitter and Aaron and I flew up to Susanville and visited his brother. What a nice trip.

3 Random Facts
1- I love to cook. Rachel Ray and Paula Deen are my FAVORITE!! I am a sucker for candles, and chocolate!
2- Fall is my favorite season. It's cool enough in the mornings to open up the house but warm enough to still not have to wear winter clothes.
3- I read the entire Twilight Series(4- 600 page books) by Stephenie Meyer in 3 days! Even the new book which I bought! I cant wait for the movie to come out!! November woohoo!
