Thanks to Robyn for reminding me to post LOL.
Where has the time gone and why does it seem to speed up?
So much has gone on in the last two months and just doesn't seem to let up. I cant believe we are only 4 days until it's October!! It's crazy! So here is what is going on in the Heffner household that has kept me super busy as to not post anything for a while ;)...
-We moved. Yes I know again, however this is a GOOD move and a more permanent one. We found this cute 1 story home, the payment is WAY lower than previous and we are in a Lease Option Buy, so that means after a year if we'd like to buy we can!! woo hoo. So the house needed a little work, nothing major, but the windows were extremely dirty, and the entire inside of this house is WHITE! yes, white carpet, white walls, white blinds, white counter tops, etc... SO we asked our awesome handyman friend Mark, to come help me paint! In 2 days we had the whole inside painted, the windows cleaned inside and out with screens and everything.. the gardeners came and really cleaned up the yard for us too. It's perfect! We also have pet frogs (not really pets) but the girls think they are..when the sprinklers come on in the evening, the entire community gets bombarded with the frogs (we back up to a canal), they love going out and "hunting" the frogs. We love it because its in a very small gated community away from traffic and I don't have to run up and down stairs anymore!! I don't ever worry about traffic or people speeding up and down the street, and the girls can go out and ride their bikes and play and never worry about the cars!
-We've become great friends with our next door neighbors. Robin and John. They dont have any children at home anymore..their baby just went away to college about 2 weeks ago. But our girls just adore them and their dog. Aaron took John flying a few weeks ago and they instantly hit it off... then we found out John is a huge fan of fishing..well Aaron has always wanted to take on fishing as a hobby, he just hasnt had anyone to go with, well the last few weeks, Aaron has been Johns fishing buddy. They catch some fish just about every time they go out. Mostly Trout, but like this morning they headed to the Delta at 4am to catch some Striper. Robin is a sweetheart and the girls adore her and love to go over and swim in the pool with her.
-Daycare: Aaron and I put both the girls in part time daycare Monday, Wednesday, Friday 8 to 12:30. I need a little extra time to get some website work done and they are going crazy now that they dont have the daycare kids to play with anymore. Yes I quit the daycare when we downsized. It will be good for them, and they are actually going to a dear friend of ours' daycare. Extremely clean and she does a preschool program with all the kids 3 and older, so its perfect for Dakota and Kaylie to get more "schooling" when they aren't in their normal preschool classes Tuesday and Thursday.
-Me: Well baby is healthy and doing great. He is starting to move soo much now, and Aaron has finally been able to feel him kick and squirm. THe girls are constantly asking "when is baby brother coming" so they are excited as well. The Braxton Hicks Contractions have started..the more I am on my feet chasing the girls and playing and even cleaning sometimes, the more I feel them. The other reason for the girls in daycare, I need the extra rest. This is about the same time I went into Preterm Labor with Kaylie so the Doctor says I need to start taking it really easy. But everything looks good as of now.
So that is the update on our little family... I'll have to post some pictures soon of the house, the girls and Aarons new adventures in fishing!
