New addition to the Heffner Family...

Nope.. NOT a baby LOL! But a Kitty! Meet Charlie!

He is the sweetest adorable little cat and the girls just love him to death. He sleeps with dakota when she goes to bed then when its time for Aaron and I to head to bed, he comes into our room and sleeps at the end of our bed. He hates being alone and whines whenever we leave.

He's a doll and so good with the girls! The best part... he self potty trained.. unlike a dog, they train themselves! But his favorite place to sleep during the day is between my computer screen and the keyboard. Isnt he cute??

Weekend Rainbow!

So on Saturday, we got a light rain while we were all out playing outside... well no one wanted to go inside, so we stood out the heavy sprinkleing and I am so glad we did because I wouldn't have been able to take these GORGEOUS photos!

Take Shape For Life...

About 3 months ago.. Aaron and I started a weight-loss program introduced to us through a friend. At first I was very very skeptical because honestly, we had done Jenny Craig and that was a bust and expensive! We, started an exercise plan..well that just did not work... the weight just was NOT coming off. We decided that we would give this a try.. what is there to lose right? Money? Well, this is a lot cheaper than any of the other diets we had tried. So.. wanna see my results??

Halloween!!!

Dakota decided she wanted to be a princes.. her favorite Disney princess is Aurora(Sleeping Beauty).. so we found a cute one that fit at Target for pretty cheap! And then Kaylie, who right now is in love with Tinkerbell, Saw the fairy costume with teh pretty wings, and decided that is what she wanted to wear! So here we have.. Princess Dakota and Fairy Kaylie.

They both went trick-or-treating..but after just one street of houses Kaylie was really tired so we dropped her back off...and Dakota and I went trick-or-treating with our friends across the street, Tami, Jacob and Sarah. She was such a big girl..keeping up with the older kids. She had a blast! Although they both got tons of candy, I decided to dump most (okay all of it) back into our Candy Bowl.. and gave it away to the kids that came by. The girls each got to pick out 2 or 3 pieces to keep for the next day.
